Sewage Treatment

Sewage Treatment Plant are based on anaerobic and aerobic process and design to have  function for efficient treatment of domestic wastewater from toilets, bathroom, kitchen and washing area. The sintex package sewage treatment plants are manufactured in collaboration with M/s Aqua Nishihara Corporation, Japan – a world leader in Wastewater Treatment System.

Anaerobic Process

Anaerobic treatment is a proven and energy-efficient method for treating industrial wastewater. It uses anaerobic bacteria (biomass) to convert organic pollutants or chemical oxygen demand into bio-gas in an oxygen-free environment. Anaerobic micro-organisms are selected for their ability to degrade organic matter present in industrial effluents, converting organic pollutants into bio-gas and a small amount of bio solids. The energy-rich bio gas can then be used for boiler feed and/or combined heat and power  to produce heat.

Anaerobic treatment offers several advantages

  • Low Energy Use
  • Small reactor surface area
  • Lower chemical usage
  • Reduced sludge-handling costsAnaerobic Process

Aerobic Process

An Aerobic Treatment is a small scale Sewage Treatment. Aerobic treatment is a biological process that uses oxygen to break down organic matter and remove other pollutants like nitrogen and phosphorus. It converts the organic matter into carbon dioxide and new biomass. During aerobic treatment, oxygen is continuously required so forced air from an air blower or compressor is mixed with the wastewater. The aerobic bacteria feeds on the waste in this water and aerobic treatment takes place. Aerobic treatment is used to achieve maximum degradation while meeting the strict regulations set by environmental agencies regarding what is released into the air, ground, or water.

Aerobic treatment offers several advantages

  • They play an important role in the wastewater treatment process ensuring that wastewater can be discharged safely in order for companies to meet strict environmental requirements.
  • The stabilized resulting sludge is odour free and makes an excellent fertilizer.
  • The operation is relatively simple.AEROBIC PROCESS
